I like this bridge. It is a beautiful piece of engineering. So I am attempting to wax artistic in my photographic rendering of it. I hope you enjoy the pictures. (Click on them to see the full size images.

1) Nan, I giggled b/c Net Nanny “warned me” @ your blog when I pulled up the page b/c of “intimate apparel”. Huh? Where is it??2) FANTASTIC pictures!! You waxed artistic beautifully!3) And your family pictures were great, too. Welcome back to Planet blog :D. You were missed! 🙂
Great pics, Nan. I really like the look of the second one with the bridge showing through the fog. Thanks for sharing and enjoy the rest of your vacation.

fog is lovely on the golden gate.I don’t care for it at my house.grand pictures
Nice, nice artistry. You did well.
I got to agree with you about the Golden Gate Bridge. I got a little dizzy walking over it. In general, I love San Francisco. If they only can clean up the Wharf, it would be perfect.
It is dizzying looking over the side. I’ve walked it twice and driven it several times.
Beautiful pictures! It reminds me of our (we call it that because we are from MI originally) bridge – the Mighty Mack. Though I have never been to the Golden Gate the Mackinaw Bridge – mackinacbridge.org – is just as beautiful if not more so because of it’s more natural surroundings. The next time you come to the US you should do so through Upper Michigan. It’s one of the most beautiful and best kept secrets I have ever been to! 🙂
You’re pics have been gorgeous! Thank you for sharing – you really do have talent w/ that new camera of yours. I just wanted you to know I posted about your photos on my blog. Since I’m not taking any exciting vacations this summer, I’m posting links to those that are (and are sharing photos).
WOW! Those are great pictures of the Golden Gate Nan! It was fun to see some pictures from good ol CA and also some familiar faces in your family photo. One regret that I have after leaving CA is that I never did get a chance to walk across the Golden Gate bridge. Always wanted to do that for some reason…maybe someday.
Great pictures of the bridge, and of your family! Looks like it was a fun trip.
Oh, those pictures make me homesick!
