I just want to let a few of you know what you are missing by living somewhere other than here right now.  You know… just in case you were wondering.

And just in case you’re not super good with metric conversions, I’ll help you out.  In Fahrenheit that would still equal

Speaking of hibernation days… I’m thinking more along the lines of a hibernation WEEK.

Merry, merry, merry winter!!

  1. Sounds like we are neighbors- lol. Massachusetts is in a state of emergency today and expecting high winds and frigid temps. My MIL is coming to stay with us because her power and heat are out. Lucky me. 🙂

  2. Ha! I totally have you beat. Have you checked out E-town’s weather forecast :
Saturday: high -21 low -31, Sunday: High -27 Low -32 and Monday: High -29 and low -34 ( all celcus)

I don’t know about you but I don’t think the words high and -29 belong in the same sentence.

    Keep Warm!!!!!

  3. LOL Well, this is one of those instances where I am so not jealous about being beaten! YOU keep warm! I should totally do grocery shopping today but I don’t have the time! Ugh!

  4. Girlfriend- I would love to come and visit you someday. But not in winter. You are a stong woman to be able to live in such temperatures. God bless you. And god bless LLbean and thier down comforters.

  5. Wow – that’s cold! THis is why I live in South Texas – we’re lucky if it gets into the 20’s or 30’s here during the winter. However, COLD to me, is about 55 FARENHEIT! (o: Stay warm!!

  6. Wow..just stay inside in front of a fire and read books with the kiddos. Make popcorn strings for the tree! 🙂 It is going to be -4C tomorrow here. That is cold enough for me. IT will get worse..but not as bad as yours. We have had a few chances of snow but nothing stuck really well yet. Just lots of rain yesterday..would have been 2 feet of snow if it was a bit colder outside!

  7. It has been a very cold and very snow winter so far in Wisconsin. We are all sick of it! Our temperatures have often been 0-10 degrees Fahrenheit. This weekend we are warm, in the 30’s F, but the strong, harsh winds make it feel as bad as ever. Sunday night/Monday morning we’ll be back to around 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Ugh. I wanna move!
