I love it that people gathered and gazed in awe at the beauty and wonder at God’s amazingly synchronized heavenly light show today. The sense of anticipation. The shouts of wonder. The laughter. Now imagine the Son of God in all of his glory…

Revelation 1

16 In his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength. 17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. 2 Corinthians 3

18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

We walk right now in the Shadowlands. Sin and death have cast a sickly pallor and a darkness that at times feels like it will never end. But we know there is a brightness and a glory that lies beyond that long shadow because wherever there is a shadow there is a light source. For those who recognize The Light, we can often sense his nearness all the more when the shadows seem their darkest. For the brightest and nearest lights cast the most intense shadows.

May you look upon Jesus today with unveiled faces and see him as he is, your radiant and glorious savior.
