It’s good, in the midst of a year of deep losses, to find a thing to do that feeds your soul.
I just began painting last year. I have done a few acrylic pieces. The other day I decided I wanted to learn to watercolor so I bought some supplies. I painted an apple and an orange.
Then I decided to try something a little harder. And the verdict is: I am now addicted. This one is called “Honeymoon” because this was made from a photo of my Dad taken by my mom on their honeymoon in Canada in October of 1968. Here is the progression (starting from the finished product and going backwards.)
